No Over-the-Limit Fee. You won’t pay an over-the-limit fee if your credit card balance goes over your credit limit.

Let’s say your credit card limit is $5,000. One month, you spend more than your limit on the card. Some credit card companies will charge you between $25 and $35 for this mistake. If your card advertises no overlimit fee, you won’t be charged a penalty for your spending.

You spend $1100. When you get your credit card statement for the month following the introductory period, your bill will be reduced by $200. So if your credit card bill is $500, you will only have to pay $300.

Cash Back Bonus. Get some cash back as a bonus when you sign up for the credit card. The bonus offer is valid for a specific time. There are limitations.
