Automotive Discounts. This credit card offers discounts when you buy your new car. Why not save a little extra money on your ride?

You can get Free Shipping at some online stores. When you get it, if you don’t like it, you can return it for free as well.

Extended Warranty Insurance. This credit card extends the original manufacturer’s warranty of an item. You get the benefits of an extended warranty without purchasing the store’s expensive extended warranty.

Lost or Stolen Baggage Insurance. The credit card will cover replacing the contents of lost, damaged, or stolen bags, up to a given dollar value.

Imagine that thing you bought at full price goes on sale the next week. With this credit card’s Price Protection benefit you can get back the difference between the sales price and what you paid. You can only claim this benefit for the exact item: same model; same manufacturer; same everything.

Let’s say you bought a round-trip ticket to Orlando for $750, but two weeks later, the airline has a sale. Everything is the same, except it now costs $500. Entertainment Access. Some credit card companies host exclusive card member-only events, like Broadway shows, concerts, sporting events and more.

Global Assist Hotline. This service provides the credit card holder with customs information and destination guides. Should you be traveling more than 100 miles from home, Global Assist provides extra services. These include help for a lost passport, translation requests, missing luggage, and emergency legal and medical referrals. As the cardholder, you would be responsible for any fees from third-party service providers. Fortunately, you may be able to charge these to the credit card.

Presale Tickets. Tickets for that band that you love are going on sale next Friday. This credit card allows you to purchase your tickets before the general public.

Once approved for this credit card, you may get Welcome Points that you can use for other benefits. These include travel, high-end merchandise, discounts, or bill credits. Each card has different requirements for using the points.

Family Vacation Benefits. When you use the credit card to book your vacation, you may be eligible for vacation amenities. Some credit card cards have departments where you can book your vacation directly. Booking with an in-house travel department unlocks exclusive benefits for cardholders. These include discounts on activities, meals, and credits on cruise and hotel resorts. Other perks include adjoining or connecting rooms and discounted activities during your stay.

Roadside Assistance. This credit card company can arrange for someone to meet you for roadside repairs. They can also organize to have your car towed to your home or a shop within a specific radius.
